About Us

Our Mission

We strive to build supportive relationships with our patients and provide the exceptional care that keeps them smiling for a lifetime. In addition to the latest technology, we also invest in continuing education for our team, so we can ensure that we’re at the forefront of modern dental care and can give you the kind of treatment you can trust. At Glen Valley Dentistry, we offer truly personalized, comprehensive care in a comfortable environment. You’ve found your dental home.

Dr. Shaun Williams

“Hi there, I’m Dr. Shaun Williams. I take pride in providing patients with the quality and caring dentistry they deserve and desire, all in a fun and welcoming environment. I believe it’s our responsibility to practice complete health dentistry, in which we educate our community about the link between the mouth and the rest of the body. That way you can love your beautiful smile, knowing you’re taking care of not only your dental health, but of your total health and wellness. I enjoy learning and growing with dentistry to provide our family of patients with the latest technology and techniques to improve their overall dental experience. My favorite part about working with the Glen Valley Dentistry team is when we come together to meet and exceed our patients’ expectations.”

Dr. Charles Wenzel

“Hello, I’m Dr. Charles Wenzel. I enjoy being a dentist because it gives me the opportunity to get to know my patients and build lasting relationships that grow over time. I take it as a huge honor when I can help a patient improve their smile, oral health, and their life. I’m originally from Frankenmuth, Michigan, and I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan, (Go Blue!) where I studied neuroscience. I then graduated from Marquette University in Wisconsin with a doctorate of dental surgery. While not at the office, I enjoy attending University of Michigan football and basketball games. I also hope to improve my golf game and take advantage of all the great courses in the area.”

How To Prepare For Your Visit

We love meeting new patients, and we love making dental care easy. That’s why we provide you with access to all of your new patient forms so you can fill them out at your convenience, and cut down on your wait time when you arrive.

In order to ensure the safety of our patients and staff, and in adherence to CDC and OSHA guidelines, we ask that you call us at (616) 891-8931 when you arrive so we can let you know if the office is at capacity or if you may enter, as well as provide you with our most up-to-date health and safety policies. We also request that you wear a mask once inside.

In order to make the check-in process quick and easy we ask that you have your dental insurance card ready upon arrival.

Advanced Technology

By keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in dentistry, we’re able to maximize our treatment capabilities and provide efficient, effective care to all of our patients. With digital imaging devices, like our CBCT (cone-beam computed tomography) scanner, we’re able to create crisp, detailed images of your teeth, gums, and their underlying structures to make more accurate diagnoses and quickly decide on the best possible treatment. These images allow us to see the smallest details, aiding us in catching potential problems before they become a more painful, and expensive, issue. Our office is even equipped to craft CEREC crowns in a single visit, and our imaging tech will ensure a great fit. We’re also able to create cosmetic mockups to show you the results of your procedures before we even begin.

Providing Dental Care For Those In Need

We work with Dental Lifeline Networks (DLN) through their flagship Donated Dental Services program to provide access to dental care for those with various factors in their lives keeping them from getting the care they need. Through DLN’s program, we’re able to provide quality treatment to people with permanent disabilities, as well as those who are elderly or otherwise medically fragile. For every patient, we create a customized treatment plan that addresses all of their needs, allowing them the chance at the healthy smile they deserve.
